The Edison Memorial Tower Corporation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, is raising funds to restore the Edison Memorial Tower and build a new museum at historic Menlo Park. In 2007, the EMTC was successful in raising $379,000 in private funds in order to obtain a $379,000 grant from the U.S. Mint. We are pleased with this success and thank everyone who contributed to the campaign. The mission of the Edison Memorial Tower Corporation is to preserve, promote, and manage the Edison Memorial Tower and Museum in the Menlo Park section of Edison Township, New Jersey. The Corporation will strive to honor the memory of Thomas A. Edison and to educate the public about Edison, his significant accomplishments at this site, and his impact on modern research and development.
